One Terminally Ill Girl Gets Her Wish

The wish of a terminally ill 12-year-old came true recently thanks to some generous Houstonians, Wish with Wings and Houston's 55.

Bianca was the belle of a festive "Cinderella Ball" at the Hilton-Americas hotel downtown. Her special wish was to have a quinceanera, which in Latin cultures is a celebration of a girl's 15th birthday. Bianca wanted to dance with her father and brothers.

Flower, food, decorations, limo service, tuxedos, dresses, party favors and more were donated for the event by Elias Events, Ideal Party Decorators, Flowers by Nino, Elegante Entertainment, Ice Designs, Darryl and Co. and Merlo's.

Bianca and her family were picked up in a limousine and stayed in the Presidential Suite. She had her hair and makeup professionally done and was picked up by a "prince" in a horse and carriage at Discovery Green.

At the end of the party, Bianca's friends performed a special dance and a special treasure box was presented to her by her family.
