Graham Harrell: "I'll Have Success In Any System"

Former Texas Tech Quarterback Graham Harrell talked with Dave Knobler about the upcoming NFL draft, what it was like to be a Red Raider and what he would be doing if he wasn't playing football.

On the upcoming NFL draft: It's just a waiting game at this point. I'm excited about the opportunity and just looking forward to where I'm going to be.

On learning a new offense: It's nothing I'm worried about. I've had success in those systems (Texas Tech). I think I'll have success in any system. I've won lots of football games in my career, and I feel like I can at the next level.

On all the successful players coming out of the DFW area: It's a big day for the DFW area. It's neat that so many good players have come out of that area. I got to see a lot of them in high school and college and now we're all going out together. It's a pretty neat deal.
On what he would be doing if he wasn't playing professional football: No matter how long my playing days last, if they last for 20 years and I don't ever need to work again, I'll still get back into coaching because that's what I've group up around. That's what I love. I'm going to coach at some point.

On playing at Texas Tech: It's no question it was a blast. We had a great run. We just came together as a team and got hot at the right time and started playing well.
