If you have pre-1970 photographs of identifiable places in our Houston viewing area, we'd love to hear from you. We can always use images of landmarks as they looked decades ago – the older the better – and images of places now lost to "progress." In addition, we have specific needs of images for the following upcoming stories:
- Ship Channel refineries, especially Sinclair, before 1940
- Galveston bath houses before 1930
- Sharecroppers
- Moonshine makers or revenue agents who went after them
- Freedmenstown before 1950
- Italian restaurants in Houston or Galveston before 1940
- African-American fraternal organizations such as the Masons, Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias, etc.
- Barnstorming baseball teams coming through Southeast Texas
- Houston Colt .45s baseball team
- The town of Crosby before 1940
- The Beaconsfield, Rossonian or Savoy high rise apartment buildings
- Houston first junior high schools: Marshall (North Side), South Side, Hogg, Jackson, E.O. Smith or Deady
