5. Why did you change your air schedule?

Houston’s 55 changes its schedule periodically throughout the year. From time to time, we premiere new shows or repeat shows that our viewers love. Because of this, we may need to move a few of the shows  to different time periods, allowing us to create blocks of TV time that we think our viewers will like. Programming changes are thought out carefully, and we do our best to keep the schedule as consistent as possible. If you have an additional programming question, please contact our programming department.

We are committed to our hearing-impaired audience and we do our best to comply with FCC guidelines. With that in mind, all of Houston’s 55 programming will eventually be closed-captioned.
