KTBU TV/DT Houston's Channel 55 is a full-power commercial television station licensed to the city of Conroe, Texas, serving the Houston, Texas, DMA. Humanity Interested Media, LP is the licensee of KTBU. On Sept. 29, 2004, Humanity Interested Media was purchased by Channel 55 Broadcasting, LLC, a Houston, Texas-based media company.
